Cleaning a microwave: is vinegar the right cleaning fluid?
You want to clean your microwave. You’ve heard that vinegar is supposed to be good. After all, it’s a household substance that you’ve always got around. We advise you not to clean your microwave with vinegar or vinegar essence. It’s too aggressive and isn’t suitable for cleaning a microwave. To clean your microwave properly, rather than vinegar, we recommend that you remove the turntable and cleaning it in soapy water. Wipe the interior with a damp cloth. Never use the rough side of a universal sponge as it could scratch the interior surfaces. Oven cleaner should also not be used. It’s best not to wait too long before cleaning the microwave, but to clean it immediately after warming and preparing food. This way, the microwave is quickly and easily cleaned. Vinegar isn’t necessary for cleaning your microwave.
